XS400-Seat

Santa comes in January :-)
The KZ-s tires are arrived.

These are all of the assigned components for the Kawa.

Approaching the finish of the seat.
Silver soldered threated nuts.

 It fits.

And finally
the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Or in the sitting?

XS400-Seat

Seat fixation.
I made a little extra for Árpi.

The front fixation and the plate overlay are riveted and the plate's corners are soldered with silver.
The rear fixation is the following...

KZ-Fender

Finally I could commence!
I made a fender shaped wireframe to the tire and a paper sample from it. I redrew it to a 1mm sheet metal. I cut it and smash it.

The best thing is that I made it without using a steel hammer.
This will be the final distance between the fender and the wheel.

XS400-Seat

1.5 mm sheet metal. Hard to work with it.

It looks pretty nice on the bike.

Árpád riding the iron. Testing the sitting position and the handlebar. He said it will have an "English look"...IF finished :-)

XS400

On wheels!
The rear suspension is ready.
130mm ground clearance. Worth while my balls :-D

XS400-Tank

CZ 175 Sport tank.
For Yamaha.
Of course it doesn't fit. Cut out and becomes a  new inner.
Fitting the inner.
Test.
Assambled to the final form.
I'm weilding. The tester petrol is flaming out trough the inlet,
and blow out with one move.
Done! And it doesn't leak!

KZ 750 Twin - Frame

I have not too much to explain. The shapes are formed yet.

Yamaha XS400

Ugly little Ymaha, home modified without any skill. My friend Árpád Zirig (http://sebessegoltara.blog.hu/) buy it from an auction site. Of course for a building basic. For this reason it ended up in my workshop.
If someone build a bike for his own style is a praiseworthy act. But the so much skill what the  previous "builder" showed on the XS deserves on a scale of ten, ten points. With negative precursor!!!

 Some horroristic wire work.
Exciting think about the rear subframe.

And here's the "Zirigbike"!!!
Here begins the meaningful work.

The aspect is taking shape.

KZ - frame

Custom handmade axle plates. This time I miss out the laser cutting :-)
 Modified sprocket-wheel with bearing neck.
 The welds are still ahead.
 Sprocket-wheel and hub.

The axle plate is in position.
The original frame is losing its parts.

KZ - The neck

I prepare the frame
to the reception of the neck.
There are too many fripperys, can't be accessed to it.
The image is cleaner.
I'ts almost the end result. The braces are missing, but it is structurally complete.
The front part.
We start slowly toward to the back of the frame.
